Stress Incontinence Surgery 2 weeks ago
I had a sling put in 2 weeks ago to fix my problem with stress incontinence. After 3 babies I just couldn't laugh, cough, sneeze or jump without leaking. I had to wear pads everyday because I never knew if I would leak!
Anyway, decided to go ahead with the surgery (I wasn't up for using gizmo's and contraptions) and had my tubes tied at the same time.
I felt fine after about a week and feel even better now, but I am having one problem. I get the normal feelings of fullness and the urge to "go", but when I sit down I have to coax the urine out! I have to use my kegel muscles to start and stop the flow to get it to come out. When I really have to go, I get that building feeling that your about to release, but it just doesn't come out!!!!! I usually have to reposition myself to get it all out.
Is this normal? Will it get better? If anyone has experience with this, I would love some advise.
